Position Outline:
We are looking for a top-class IT sales professional that is interested in joining one of the best companies in the game. A Technology Consultant has the heart of a partner, and a desire to help clients find solutions to their unique IT needs. As the key contact in their market for our clients and partners, the Technology Consultant will represent a specific geography and work to bring new clients onboard through our monthly agreement for managed IT services. TC will also maintain a good working relationship with each client in their territory. This is a remote position, and as such will require a professional workspace in your home (virtual team meetings via video chat are common). This is a role with unlimited income potential.
The Ideal Team Member:
The ideal Technology Consultant should have a minimum of 5 years of rockstar sales experience, preferably with a knowledge of common small business IT practices, tools, applications, and needs; someone who digs the entrepreneurial spirit! Sales experience is always preferable to educational achievement; no degree, no problem if you have the right stuff. You must be able to adequately discuss, during an interview, a history of success in selling into dental, medical, or general small business markets.Experience using a CRM system to track, maintain, and organize their prospects, leads, and clients is a pre-requisite. Strong organizational skills, the ability to work without direct oversight, and refined communications are also necessary to be considered for the role. This position requires travel, mainly via private vehicle, but occasionally via air as well. General territory travel extends to about 2 hours from your home base to visit and prospect for clients.
Compensation Plan:
The position is salary plus uncapped commission, including benefits, retirement, and a limited expense account. In addition to the general compensation, a generous bonus package is used to reward performance, an annual incentive trip is available for top performers, and paid holidays are provided for a little R&R! Oh yeah, and we pay for the gas!
The base salary is $40k, with an additional guaranteed income amount of $3k per month in the first 9 months ($67k first year guaranteed) - all on us, no draws or paybacks here! Our estimated first-year On-Target Earnings (OTE) is $80k+. Our veteran team members surpass $100k within their first 2 years and find substantial financial success beyond.
