Job Description
Position: Shift Supervisor
Hours: Approx. 2:00p-11:30p Training may be done on 1st shift (if possible)
Reports to: Production Manager, Plant Manager, CEO
Hours: Assigned shift with some flexibility as needed
General requirements:
Safety is number one
Making sure you and your staff follow all safety rules
Have plastic Injection Molding experience
To help produce acceptable parts for our customers
Have mechanical skills
Keep machines running as much as possible
Able to work weekends (they rotate)
Know how to perform most duties, and be able to train the new employees to perform their duties Be able to clean molds, set up, process, color changes, and trouble shoot Injection Molding machines
Know how to mix materials
Computer experience: Word, Excel, Emails, etc.
Able to schedule employees for correct coverage
You will be in charge of employee training, paperwork, reprimands, evaluations, employee related issues in a proper & professional manner, assigning work machines
Able to fill out necessary paperwork involving parts, machines, and employees
Are able to relieve material handlers, operators/packers for breaks and lunches or fill in for them if they are missing
Fork Lift experience
Paulson training would be helpful
Quality Assurance
Use of Micrometers, Calipers-helpful
Attention to detail
Able to follow policies and procedures and enforce them
Complete training in a timely matter
Make suggestions
Continue to learn and be involved with the rest of the HQC team

Technicians
Quality Assurance Inspectors
Material Handlers/Tech Trainee
QT-Quality technician/packer-inspectors
Tasks may include, but may not be limited to the following:
Pushing
Pulling
Lifting boxes from the floor or overhead of up to 20 lbs
Repetitive use of hands
Standing
Walking
Bending
Twisting
Looking at parts manually and with the use of visual tools
Able to use Calipers, Micrometers, Microscopes and other vision tools may be necessary
Keeping up with reports for production, training, and attendance
Able to interact with the employees and management
Able to handle personal and work related stressful situations
Communicate with the other shifts
