Swan is a well-established and growing residential company whose goal is to make our customers happy. We do this by performing all aspects of drains, plumbing, heating and air conditioning service, and repair and replacement sales to homeowners.
The idealcandidate will have a thorough knowledge of residential service plumbing concepts. Successful candidates must be organized with great attention to detail. You should have exceptional multi-tasking skills and must be able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Most of all you must be an excellent communicator able to effectively explain products and services which best meet our client's needs. Additionally, sales experience will be needed to be successful in this role as you will need to meet and exceed sales goals.
*This is a full-time hourly position with commission and bonus opportunity.The workschedule is Monday through Friday (with rotational on-call on the weekends).Pay is based on performance and ranges from $60K- Over$100K per year.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cutting, assembling, and installing pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure
- Use a variety of plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers)
- Troubleshoot to locate and repair pipe and pipeline systems using various methods
- Able to diagnose leaks of an unknown source (up to down leaks)
- Able to perform drain cleaning
- Interpret blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work procedures
- Analyze problems and identify appropriate tools and materials for repair
- Prepare written work cost estimates for our customers
- Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records
- Complete all tasks and comply with safety policies and established procedures and quality standards
- Meet sales goals and metrics
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- 2 + years of previous residential plumbing experience
- Solid understanding of basic plumbing concepts, water distribution, and disposal systems
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
- Strong communication and customer service skills, friendly and approachable
- Ability to work with a high degree of integrity and promote positive company image
- Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business
- Analytical, focused on quality, and results-driven
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Satisfactory passing of pre-employment screens and physical
- Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions
