QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Some knowledge of office terminology, procedures, and equipment. Ability to write legibly, follow oral and written directions, and work with a variety of people.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Register Medicaid billable SPED employees with AHCCCS.
- Request NPI number - National Provider Number for Certified personal.
- Coordinate trainings with SEAS to be in compliance with Medicaid requirements.
- Coordinate CPR/First Aid training for classified staff (Health Providers)
- Provide RMTS trainings for all district-wide AHCCCS approved providers.
- Monitor RMTS - Random Moments of Time Study Daily
- Review IEPs for compliance and accuracy and assist service coordinators in bringing special education files into compliance for Medicaid and state audits.
- Collaborate with the tuition out personnel to ensure they are in compliance with both special education records and Medicaid documentation such as DSCtop and Service Records.
- Collaborate with other district departments to ensure full compliance for both special education records and Medicaid.
- Provide our Transportation Department with weekly J2/J3 reports.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets of all current providers with all pertinent information including current licensure, CPR/First Aid, and AHCCCS provider ID numbers, NPI - National Provider Number, and maintain physical files with all licensure dating back five years.
- Provide PCG - Public Group Consultant with the IEPs of students who are Medicaid billable.
- Maintain a database of all current Medicaid students (both in district and tuition out). Manage DSCtop and assure all Providers are billing appropriately each month.

- Serve as a public relations liaison in answering telephones, taking messages, returning phone calls, and receiving visitors.
SALARY: Twelve-month position, beginning salary Level 31, employee benefits in accordance with Board policies.
EVALUATION: Performance to be evaluated in accordance with Board Policy on the evaluation of support personnel.
