Technician (Lvt) - Vida Urgent Care

Here at Vida Veterinary Urgent Care, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LVT to join our growing team! We are looking for a kind and experienced LVT who provides exceptional patient care and customer service in a calm, welcoming environment. Vida Vet is Middletown, Delaware's newest veterinary hospital offering Urgent Care services. Our hours are Mon-Fri 12pm-8pm and Sat/Sun 10am-6pm. We are closed all major holidays. Rotating weekend shifts are a requirement for this position

We are seeking someone who is able to multi-task, exhibits attention to detail, enjoys a fast paced environment and works well with a team. 

Job Skills recommended:

• Understands usage & dosage of all prescription medications and can readily explain to client
  
• Can collect & submit laboratory samples 
• Perform general anesthesia and monitoring. Utilizing doppler, oscillometric, and ECG monitoring
• Place IV catheters
• Knowledgeable of radiographic positioning
• Patient treatments and monitoring
