Salary: $45K - $65K per year
Minimum Qualifications:
- GED or High School Diploma
- Additional training or coursework related to technology
- Experience in working in an educationally-related organization desired
- Effective oral and written communication skills
The Capital School District is seeking an Entry Level Field Technicians, whose primary focus will be to assist in the repair, configuration, maintenance, and deployment of computers and other technology. Entry-Level Technicians are a primary point of contact for routine helpdesk tickets and assist in the troubleshooting/resolving of those tickets. A successful candidate will possess the following experience and skills:
- Experience with Chromebook repairs preferred
- Experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of other software and hardware
- Familiarity with performing routine system installations, setups, maintenance, and configurations
- Experience with current Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, and other Microsoft products
- Ability to perform routine system maintenance (upgrades, software/hardware updates, etc.)
- Assist staff with basic technology use and deployment of new equipment
- Exposure to SMART Boards, Projectors, Audio Visual Distribution Systems, Mobile Devices, Computer Imaging and other technology systems desired
- Ability to utilize inventory management systems for equipment deployment to staff and students.
- Related classwork or certifications will be taken into consideration
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required
- Self-motivated, demonstrates ability and desire to learn new skills, and excels under pressure
- Works a flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends as needed
- Other duties as determined by District and Departmental needs
