Waste Recycling Services has been services South Florida, Naples, and the Keys for over 20 years, We provide excellent sales and service in all areas of the Compactors, Balers, Commercial Dock, and Doors. Currently, we are seeking an experienced Electrician to repair Compactor and Balers in the South Florida area.
Our electricians get paid for the actual time they spend working, not the time from a labor guide. All services are performed in the field at our client’s location. Electricians are provided a company service van/truck and are dispatched from their homes. We provide an excellent work environment where electricians are truly appreciated and receive the respect they deserve.
Main Duties:
Diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair, all makes and models of Vertical Balers, Trash Compactors, Self-Contained Trash Compactors, Lifts, Dock Levelers, Edge of Docks, and Dock Seals.
Provide courteous and professional service
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with Company and OSHA Standards
Maintain a clean and safe work vehicle
Previous experience in electrical
Familiarity with multimeter
Knowledge of PLCs, Relays, Contactors, Motors, Valves, and Safety switches
Ability to troubleshoot PLCs, Relays, Contactors, Motors, Valves, and Safety switches
Excellent root cause analysis skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Ability to lift 100lbs
Preferred but not required:
Experience diagnosing and repairing compactors, balers, and/or other industrial equipment
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
Welding / fabricating experience a plus
Experience as a road mechanic a plus
Exceptional customer service skills
Clean driving record
Stable work history
