POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for all instrument processing activities, including decontamination. disinfection, and sterilization of all flexible scopes, other instruments, and appropriate supplies for future use. Assists with inventory control and restocking of unit. Completes other duties as required. Receives direction from: Endoscopy Staff Supervisor, Endoscopy RN
EDUCATION:
Highschool diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Previous Central Supply/Endoscopy Tech experience, preferred
Previous CNA experience, preferred
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Able to properly fill out forms; able to follow manufacturer's instructions
Basic computer and keyboarding
Usu of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position
