The scope of the IT GEMS contract includes a full range of information technology (IT) services which include necessary hardware, software, and ancillary, components to support enterprise-level programs and environments. Support service areas include program management support, policy, procedures, and operations support, IT core services support, security compliance, customer and client services support, transformational IT support, and application migration support.

HOW A TECHNICAL WRITER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Supports C.5.1.20 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Knowledge Based (KB) Documentation.
- Collaborates with Functional Leads and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop clear, comprehensive, and accurate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and Knowledge Based Articles (KBAs), delivered within 30 days after each program transition and updated quarterly.
- Creates documentation that is easily translatable to support non-English speaking individuals and individuals with hearing impairments.
- Adheres to ISO 9001:2015 quality standards regarding version control, standard naming conventions, and proper documentation practices.
- Maintains a robust quality management system (QMS) in SharePoint (IPMS-SharePoint) to host all SOPs, TTPS, and KBAs.
- Security Clearance Level: Public Trust
- Required Certification: Certified Professional Technical Communicator (CPTC) or equivalent
