We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced writer who is genuinely passionate about writing persuasive IT content for government audiences. We need someone with experience gathering information from multiple sources, interviewing subject matter experts, and conducting additional research to craft a concise and influential narrative. You’ll work with skilled graphic designers, brilliant problem solvers and savvy strategists to help develop compelling, impactful, and responsive content to win new work and enhance our market position.
What you’ll be doing:
This individual will produce high-quality documentation, training material, and communication deliverables that contribute to the overall success of our projects. This Technical Writer is responsible for the planning, researching, outlining, and writing of end-user documentation including all user manuals, technical manuals/documents, directives, policies, and infrastructure documentation.
Create graphics that aid the target audience in understanding the documented material.
Track and correct documentation defects
Editing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for analytic-related activities
Independently manage all project-related documentation
Assist with the authoring, proofing and quality control of project documentation, operational procedures, technical reports, research publications and presentations.

Qualifications:
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in proposal and/or editorial writing experience. Technical background is preferred; corporate, in-house experience is a plus. You are an excellent writer and can communicate ideas creatively and concisely. You’re a superior multi-tasker and can manage work on tight timelines. You’re a team player and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You have a knack for creating big picture stories that inform and resonate with diverse audiences. We will review writing samples to ensure your writing expertise matches our needs.
Required Skills:
3+ years writing competitive proposal content, preferably within a professional services firm.
3+ years of editorial writing and copy creation experience.
Preferred Skills:
Experience writing IT proposals is strongly desired.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
You have a knack for creating big picture stories that inform and resonate with diverse audiences.
You understand the importance of subject matter expertise and how to leverage this knowledge to develop easily digestible content.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$69,862.00 - $118,765.00 Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
