Technical Theatre Director

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all technical aspects of theater productions, including lighting, sound, set design, and special effects
- Collaborate with directors, designers, and production teams to ensure the successful execution of technical elements
- Develop and implement creative solutions to technical challenges
- Coordinate and supervise the work of technical staff and crew members
- Maintain and operate theater equipment and systems
- Conduct rehearsals to ensure technical elements are properly integrated into the production
- Troubleshoot technical issues during performances
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical theater or related field
- Strong knowledge of ballet and theater production processes
- Proficient in operating lighting, sound, and other technical equipment
- Excellent public speaking and communication skills
- Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation
- Experience in educating and training others in technical theater practices

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
