We are currently recruiting for a Technical Support Analyst based out of our Auburn, WA location who will be responsible for delivering on-site and virtual support to users within the North Coast geographic areas.  The Technical Support Associate must be available to troubleshoot issues Monday-Friday from 8am – 5pm Pacific.

 

Primary Job Functions

  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received via the internal ticketing system, or phone calls.
  • Analyze, record, and track software and hardware matters of significance pertaining to networking connectivity issues, printers, servers, and applications.
  • Follow up with outstanding tickets to ensure clear communication and timely resolution are achieved.
  • Resolve incidents in compliance with established standard operating procedures.
  • Determine and document root causes of problems.
  • Ensure timely escalation of issues by documenting the impact and urgency.
  • Responsible for maintaining a positive work environment by interacting with all employees in a respectful, professional manner.
  • Document ALL requests through the ServiceNow ticketing system to ensure proper information from end user is obtained.
  • Provide ticket status and escalation path for high priority issues.
  • Prioritize inbound issues according to urgency and impact guidelines.
  • Remote hands and IT deployment vendor coordination.
  • Desktop hardware and software procurement.
  • Manage all technology across the North Coast footprint. 
  • Coordinate tech hardware shipping, receiving, and recycling.
  • Partner with the Sonepar Systems and Network teams to manage critical situations and incidents proactively.

 

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and interact professionally with both technical and non-technical staff at all levels of the organization.  
  • 3+ years of experience in the Information Technology field. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, technical certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Compensation:  $22.93 - $26.79 per hour.
