About Us:

We are a logistics company for the Honda Motor Company. We are located in East Liberty, Ohio, halfway between Bellefontaine and Marysville. We started our Ohio operations in 1987 and have U.S. operations in most locations where there is a Honda manufacturing plant. Honda Logistics North America is the regional parent company for the subsidiaries conducting logistics services for the Honda Manufacturing plants. We are owned by Honda Logistics Inc. with headquarters in Japan.

What We Do:

Our services exist to provide just-in-time logistics for the manufacturing process. Essentially, we receive parts from many various automotive suppliers nationally and globally, then ship limited quantities called batches to Honda plants as they need them for production. We have multiple facilities supporting different Honda plants locally, nationally, and globally, as well as processes within the manufacturing facilities delivering parts to the line as they are needed for production. We also have sub-assembly functions, which is where we put together component parts to reduce some of the assembly required in the manufacturing facility. Our services help produce the best cars in the world.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (include but not limited to):

• Answer Helpdesk calls/maintain Helpdesk and Resolve and/or assign requests to appropriate IT Technician to resolve.
• Monitor all GCCS Systems on (iSeries) Servers.
• Provide Windows Technical support for users.
• Provide Support for Microsoft Office 365.
• Resolve user queries by providing information from systems.
• Fix Network and iSeries Printing issues.
• Monitor Network Alerts and reporting of connection problems to ISP.
• Image New PC’s and Laptops for exchange or new deployments.

PERIODIC JOB FUNCTIONS (to include but not limited to):

• Reset network and iSeries passwords
• Set up network and iSeries accounts.
• Configure new or replacement Cell Phones for the company.
• Maintain Scanner/Printer repair schedule.
• Update iSeries files; answer messages on GCCS systems
• Configure scanners & Printers
• Monitor & Cancel scanner jobs; Troubleshoot scanner issues.
• Assist in Network cabling and termination.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma, currently attending college, Associate’s Degree or 2+ years’ experience in IT field
• iSeries or GCCS experience (desired)
• Strong communication skills
• High level of teamwork
• Flexible Hours (desired)

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards.
• Occasionally required to walk on the production floor in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,632.00 - $54,387.00 per year
