The IPL Team is looking to fill the role of Technical Support Analystin their Lee's Summit, Missouri facility. Position is primarily responsible for Technical Support of IPL facilities and offices. This position will provide support on computers, software/Office 365, printers, phones, meeting rooms for staff working in offices, production, warehouses and from home offices, while contributing to infrastructure projects implementation and tests.
The Lee's Summit facility is one of the primary manufacturing sites for producing customized thin-wall injection molded containers, lids, overcaps and custom packaging solutions for branded and private label food and consumer product companies all over the world. Position Title: Technical Support Analyst
Principal Relationships:
Reports to: IT Manager
Supervises: None
Interacts with: All Employees
General Responsibilities:

• Be part of the IT helpdesk team, manage/resolve technical problems, handle user requests, travel on site when necessary.
• In collaboration with staff located in our various plants, determine on going needs and identify, document solutions.
• Install, setup and configure computers and peripherals.
• Undertake project work and additional tasks as assigned.
• Ensure that adequate passwords, firewalls, encryption, and virus scanning policies are respected.
• Ensure that relevant documentation is created and kept current on all IT technical infrastructure activities in the Company.
• Maintain a current knowledge base in relevant advances in infrastructure systems and techniques to support them.
• Evaluate new and proposed systems and technologies.
• Provide input on other infrastructure projects.

Key Competencies:

• Experience on remote computer support and IT ticket management system.
• Strong problem-solving skills are required as well as a good level of ingenuity, initiative and creativity to determine solutions.
• Highly self-motivated and action-oriented individual with a strong result driven mentality.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills to work with various departments in identifying their IT infrastructure needs.
• Strong Infrastructure knowledge (Active Directory, Office 365, Windows 10).
• Good understanding of networking technology and equipment (LAN, WAN, WIFI).
• Strong documentation & communication skills.
• Good understanding of Security Systems (Email/Internet Gateways, Firewalls etc).
• Ability to Travel (Full Driving License Required).
