Form of workThe Technical Sales Intern supports the sales team and assists with special projects. We are looking for a student who is pursuing a technical degree but is also interested in the people elements of an organization. This internship provides an opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of Technical Sales, customer experience, and marketing. The Intern will experience customer site visits, application discussions and building proposals to solve customer challenges. They will be responsible for an end of summer project that will benefit the organization. They will also gain knowledge of and interact with product management and operations teams as well as other business professionals throughout their internship. This internship will begin on May 20th, 2024.
Supports the outside sales team with technical proposal development.
Learn and follow all business processes and policies
Learn and work with sales enablement tools such as Salesforce, a customer relationship management tool (CRM).
Help VP of Sales develop early talent rotational program
Provides assistance with special projects as needed.
Additional duties are assigned.
Current enrollment in undergraduate degree program in a Technical related field (Engineering, Math, Science) at a recognized college or university
Proficient in Microsoft office suite.
Must have current driver's license and ability to drive to sites
Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers; and talk, hear and see.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Regularly/Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold & heat, risk of electrical shock, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
