About the Role
Your Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement state-of-the-art traditional Computer Vision algorithms and techniques including Feature extraction, Feature Description, Optical flow, Depth estimation, Visual SLAM, Visual tracking, and Camera calibration.
- Develop and optimize deep learning models for Computer Vision tasks to make them robust and efficient.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design appropriate solutions.
- Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of existing algorithms and methodologies to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing sessions.
Who we are looking for
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience (at least 3-5 years after Ph.D. or 6-8 years after MS) in Computer Vision research and development
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Strong understanding of image processing techniques, feature extraction, and image analysis.
- Solid mathematical foundation, including linear algebra, calculus, and statistics
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Your preferred qualifications
- Traditional Computer Vision knowledge and experience including Feature extraction, Feature Description, Optical flow, Depth estimation, Visual SLAM, Visual tracking, and Camera calibration, etc.
- Experience with deep learning approaches to Computer Vision.
- Published research in areas of Computer Vision, machine learning, AI, or related fields.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Expertise in programming in C/C++, Python, Matlab/Simulink, etc.
- Strong spoken and written English language skills
