As a Technical Writer/Editor II, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and publishing technical documents. This includes installation instructions, user manuals, agency manuals, and product stickers/labels.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Preparing written text and coordinating the layout and organization of technical documents, to meet factory production deadlines
• Creating and editing documents using Adobe InDesign & Illustrator, then publishing to an online portal
• Collaborating with engineering, technical personnel and product managers to ensure accurate content
• Participating in team project status meetings (via Teams)
• Providing document pricing when needed
• Making sure documents are ready for translation (French and Spanish) where applicable

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $62,400 - $81,900 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Requires a minimum of 2 years of technical writing experience
• Experience with publishing software - Adobe In Design and Illustrator required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with MS Office
• Prior Commercial HVAC knowledge is a plus
• Electrical and/or mechanical aptitude would be beneficial
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
