Technical Editor Supervisory Iii

Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated Technical Editor Supervisory IIIto join our team in Charleston, SC supporting Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC-A).

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

• Applicant must be eligible for a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducts documentation planning including customer needs analysis, scope definition, project planning and coordination, and scheduling for projects of advanced complexity that require alternate approaches and recommendations.
• Designs, develops, and produces technical schematics, flowcharts, graphics, and other visuals including photographs and videos to support various document projects.
• Assists in preparing scope of work for outside consultants and may participate in the evaluation of consultant proposals.
• Edits material prepared by other writers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Performs other related Technical Writer job duties as required.

EXPERIENCE:

• Ten (10) years of experience with a Master's degree or fourteen (14) years of experience with a Bachelor's degree. Experience must be in creating, editing, and reviewing technical documentation, procedures, and guidelines for C4ISR or similar systems.

EDUCATION:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or Technical Writing.
