PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
o Long periods of sitting at an individual workstation - heavy computer work

DUTIES
o Great communication skills when collaborating with the customer, operations staff, and sales.
o Participate in pollution prevention and waste reduction programs.
o Review safety data sheets (SDS) and analytical reports to determine best disposal / recycling options.
o Facilitate waste disposal / waste recycling approval process.
o Prepare bills of lading, and uniform hazardous waste manifests, and shipping labels
o Ensure conformance to all DOT, Local, State and USEPA regulations.
o Schedule non-hazardous waste, hazardous waste, and universal waste pickups.
o Coordinate recyclable materials and waste pickups within house transportation group.
o Ensure compliance with environmental regulations at all levels, by verifying the disposal of all hazardous, non-hazardous, and universal waste.
o Compile requested documentation for the customer’ annual regulatory reports.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
o Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED) with 3 plus years of relevant Customer Service experience or bachelor’s degree in the natural sciences plus 2 years of relevant experience.
o Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
o Basic knowledge of the waste disposal and recycle industry, with an understanding RCRA regulations, and related DOT shipping requirements.
