Team Overview:

 

Annalect’s Platform Operations team is a group of innovative thinkers who operate effectively behind-the-scenes and execute creative solutions within the ever-evolving media landscape. This group offers expertise in back-end work flows of ad trafficking, impacting cross-functional groups across OMG agencies. The upbeat and collaborative nature of this group allows them to bridge teams, OMG agencies, and clients in order to collectively achieve their media data and marketing goals.

 

Position Overview:

 

 This role will be responsible for providing technical support to the Platform Operations teams, working alongside more senior colleagues and managers, in the delivery of our priorities, all the while gaining knowledge and expertise on Advertising Technologies, Campaign Management and Execution, Data Input & Output Procedures, Technical & Service Partner Management, and other skills necessary in the Ad Ops space. 


Qualifications

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.  Degrees in the following subject areas are preferred: marketing, advertising, computer science, information science, social science or business-related fields with technical and project management skills.
  • Minimum 1-3 years technical experience across digital technologies, such as: Display Ad Servers, Standard/Mobile Ad Servers, Rich/Video Ad Servers, Ad Viewability & Fraud, Behavioral Targeting Compliance, Audience, Tag Management, Dynamic Creative
  • Experience working in an agency environment and knowledge of the agency media campaign planning and execution process is preferred, but not required. Agencies are exciting places to work with a variety of projects moving fast, having first-hand experience will help someone quickly ramp up
  • Proven effectiveness in managing relationships
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple projects
  • Demonstrated skill using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to express oneself clearly and concisely in written and oral communication
  • Ability to multitask

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

The Technical Ad Trafficker is responsible for all day-to-day implementation and setup of digital advertising campaigns. This includes ad trafficking and technical support. This position will coordinate efforts with various groups within the organization such as media team, any members within the platform logistics team, publishers and ad tech vendors. They will report directly and be managed by Associate Director.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, setting up display and video assets within the ad server, communicating campaign status, collecting creative assets and ensuring they meet technical specifications, testing online ads, troubleshooting online ad issues, analyzing and distributing campaign performance reports. The Technical Ad trafficker is expected to be able to prioritize their time effectively to work across multiple campaigns.

  • Process ad trafficking requests accurately and efficiently, including:
    • QA of trafficking sheets (identification and remediation of issues)
    • Upload/Assign creative files into the ad server, as detailed in the trafficking sheet
    • Implementation of additional ad tracking code (e.g. verification, viewability, research study etc…)
    • QA (identification and remediation of issues) and generate ad tags for distribution to publishers
    • Implement site event tags within client's conversion tag or tag management systems
    • Maintain functional knowledge about core ad technologies (e.g. DoubleClick, Sizmek, Flashtalking, etc.)
    • Process ad trafficking requests accurately and efficiently
    • Administrate login requests and permission settings within the ad technology platforms
    • Familiarity with Javascript, HTML and troubleshooting online technical issues

Compensation Range: $40,000 to $55,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
