Form of work The Tech Systems Contractor will work directly with the Tech Systems team at Apartment Life (AL) to help maintain and develop AL databases, automation, and security best practices for the IT systems.
Important Details:
- Start date would be early to mid-January
- 15-20 hours minimum of work per week
- Fully remote and flexible schedule
Project to:
- Klipfolio (DataHub) to Matrix (PaA)
- Database clean-up and automation improvement
Requirements:
- Expertise with MySQL: (Experience with MySQL subqueries, functions, stored procedures, and triggers.)
- Programming Skills: (Working knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, JavaScript, PHP, etc.) for automation tasks).
- Ability to interact with APIs and web services using scripting language(s).
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data inconsistencies and errors.
- Analytical mindset to optimize SQL queries and improve database performance.
- Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data warehousing preferred.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
Communication:
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively with developers, analysts, and other team members.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Self-motivated, self-disciplined, high ownership, and flexible.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
