Tech Lead Manger, Multimodal Foundation Models

We are seeking a Tech-Lead Manager to lead our efforts in the field of multi-modal Foundation Models. In this role you will: - Manage, mentor and build out a team of highly capable research scientists - Understand the capability gap based on existing experiences and build roadmap to address those - Craft technical vision for the team - Work cross functionally with data/infra teams to deliver high quality datasets for various stages of training. Our team has an excellent track record of conducting high-quality research and delivering impactful machine learning technologies often leveraging multiple sensors. Example of such products include FaceID, 2D & 3D perception stacks in iOS devices, VisionPro, and Apple's parametric 3D scene understanding technology called RoomPlan. Our focus is on building experiences that harness the power of our sensing hardware as well as large Foundation Models. In this role, you will lead a diverse, fast-moving team, driving innovation and overseeing the development of cutting-edge AI technologies in the field of Multimodal Foundation Models. Your leadership will help develop the next generation of our reasoning engines.
