Tech 1 - Deployment

General Function: Under general supervision, the Deployment Tech II processes outbound Deployment Orders and required paperwork in a timely manner according to established procedures. Using documented procedures, program applications via dial up or IP into Point of Sale terminals, troubleshoot and delivery of goods to correct area of Deployment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to this position. * Record all unit failures onto paper documentation and into the problem order tracking system, reporting any informational discrepancies. * Box, palletize and move equipment. * Support other functions within the department by performing as a Functional Downloader, scanner, and close-out. * Work within quality control standards, maintain a neat clean and orderly workstation, and adhere to all safety standards. * Perform other duties as assigned by management. Supervisory Responsibilities: * None. Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required: * Previous experience in equipment/ supply inventory position preferred. * Good communication skills * Ability to multi-task * Detail-oriented * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Demonstrated computer skills * Ability to prioritize * Good customer service skills * Ability to work with little or no supervision * Some POS equipment experience preferred * High School Diploma required Physical and Mental Demands The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by employees to successfully perform the essential functions of this class.
