As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of the team during your shift. Your main duties will include:
- Managing and supervising a team of employees
- Ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction
- Training new team members and providing ongoing coaching and support
- Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders as needed
- Handling cash transactions and ensuring accurate cash handling procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Resolving customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborating with management to implement operational improvements
```Experience```
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Familiarity with coffee brewing techniques and equipment
- Understanding of food production processes and safety standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in bartending or culinary arts is a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles is an asset
