What is a Team Manager of Residential Living Supports?
The primary goal of this role is to help each person that they support to live their best life. This is done by getting to know the people they support and understand their dreams and then to match OPG's supports to each person's needs and dreams. This is a dynamic, fast-paced and rewarding job. The tasks of this role include scheduling staff, maintaining quality assurance documentation, and serving as a rotational on-call manager. This person reports to the Regional Team Leader.
As a Quality Enhancement Specialist, you will:
- Lead by example in promoting respect, dignity, integrity, and rights for all supported persons.
- Be responsible for training and coaching staff.
- Assure services meet high, non-negotiable standards for supported people including their rights, health, safety, and progress towards self-reliance.
- Provide day-to-day support to the team and individuals supported.
- Provide weekly direct support to the assigned individual(s).
- Review daily documentation for errors and compliance.
- Ensure proper administration of medication.
- Transport individuals supported to community partnerships/appointments, etc.
- Generate Goal Development/Self-Reliance Plans, Goal Tracking Sheets, Individualized Health Plan's, and Risk Plans.
- Complete Quarterly Reports and participate in Quarterly Meetings.
- Manage Individual Medicaid Waiver budgets to ensure accurate scheduling.

Requirements
- Completed coursework towards an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a human services, leadership, or education-related field with at least one year of experience working with people with disabilities. OR Two years of experience working with people with disabilities with at least one year of experience in program development and supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Current automobile insurance
- CPR and First Aid certification - We will provide this training if needed
- Proof of TB test
- Reliable transportation
