Roles and Responsibilities

• Supports the Simply J mission;
• Provide customer excellence,
• Continuously improve us (individually and as a team),
• Support our team,
• Empower women, and
• Learn and train on the value of money
• Maintain professional and courteous relationship with all customers, vendors, and fellow employees
• Responds to client inquiries within one business day
• Utilize the standard chart of accounts (‘COA’)
• Performs periodic coding and categorization of financial transactions from bank and/or credit card feeds to accounting application
• Maintains complete, accurate, and consistent financial information
• Perform reconciliations of cash, credit card, sales, payroll
• Perform cash and accrual basis accounting
• Documents customer’s processes, progress, and questions/answers within a central repository (i.e., meeting minutes)
• Continue to update Simply J policies and procedures
• Record training videos that represent our best practices to support what/how/when
• Trains, supports, and manages new staff on the mission, methodology, and processes of Simply J
• Perform month end closes including periodic reviews of client work performed by team players
• Assist with evaluations and evolution of tech stack for practice
• Provides guidance and leadership to coalition

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
