A day in the life

• Mandatory Pre-Program TA Onboarding: We will host one live onboarding session on Monday, July 3 from 1:30 - 4:00pm ET.
• The duration of this contract is 18 weeks, from July 17 to November 17, 2023.
• Live lectures are run via Zoom on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:30 - 4:00pm ET from July 17 to November 17.
• "Full-Time" TAs are required to participate in all live lectures, providing helpful and fast responses via Slack, as well as being prepared to host breakout rooms as needed.
• "Part-Time" TAs are not required to participate in live lectures, but otherwise have the same responsibilities as Full-Time TAs (more below)
• Provide 6 hours of individual office hour sessions for Fellows each week. You may set these hours within our parameters at your availability and convenience.
• Work with fellow TAs and Lead Instructors on ways to improve the learner experience
• Host review sessions or other support mechanisms to ensure the progress and satisfaction of your Fellows.
• Grade your Fellows' submissions, providing feedback and ongoing learning support

Your expertise

• Years of experience
• One year of professional experience in the Cybersecurity field with a degree or approved credentials; If no related degree, 2+ years of professional experience in the Cybersecurity field
• Previous teaching or learner support experience, ideally in a remote environment
• Educational requirements (or equivalent experience)
• Post-secondary degree or other credentials in Cybersecurity or related field

Where you are

• This role is remote and can be located anywhere that is compatible with the EST time zone. We are headquartered in New York City and have office space in Midtown Manhattan.

Compensation

• Part-Time TA (8-10 hours per week)
• Base salary = $6,075
• Performance bonus = Up to $2,025
• Full-Time TA (15-17 hours per week)
• Base salary = $ 10,125.00
• Performance bonus = $ 3,375.00
