Teacher Of Science

Educational Qualification: Possess a bachelor's degree in the subject area, with a preference for candidates holding an advanced degree. Academic credentials are key to ensuring a solid foundation in the subject matter.

2. Teaching Experience: Demonstrate experience in teaching at the middle and/or high school levels. Practical teaching experience enhances the candidate's ability to effectively engage and educate students.

3. Versatile Teaching Skills: Exhibit an understanding of teaching both conceptual and quantitative physics and chemistry. The ability to navigate and impart knowledge in diverse aspects of these subjects is a crucial qualification for the candidate.

We are seeking candidates for a full-time position as a Teacher of Science, set to commence in August 2024.

Responsibilities:

- Instructing four courses within the Science curriculum, encompassing Chemistry and Physics in Upper School, along with at least one Middle School science section.

- Demonstrating competence in inclusive, anti-bias, anti-racist pedagogy.

- Active participation in grade-level team planning meetings with Science colleagues.

- Contribution to the school's community and student life beyond the department.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,100.00 - $143,500.00 per year
