Job Description
Project Patch Youth Program seeks a Middle/ High School English Language Arts teacher for our accredited school.
Our teachers enjoy a high level of autonomy in our classroom, very small class sizes of <10, and an "in person" year round classroom model. (Break at the end of every term)
Educational Requirements- Must be certified to teach in State of Idaho, or eligible to apply for Idaho certificate
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Must be at least 23 years of age at the time of appointment
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Maintain a highly individualized classroom:
- Teach a minimum of two core subjects: English/Language Arts and History/Social Studies to middle and High School students
- Encourage and inspire clients to meet their full educational potential
- Identify gaps in client knowledge and skills, grade level placement
- Develop individualized learning plans for each client in English/Language Arts and History/Social Studies by reviewing educational transcripts, MAP test results, psychological testing, prior IEPs, and other assessments
- Create and maintain daily written lesson plans
- Communicate with parents and student's home district.
