BUILDING: Snake River Opportunities High School - Work from home; 6-12 days a year at the District Office and occasional to consistent face to face meeting with Students in the local vicinity.

  • Must have a valid Idaho Certificate with a Secondary English Endorsement (6-12).

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teachers at Snake River Opportunities High School are both mentor teachers and content teachers.
  • Mentor Teacher: Support a smaller group of students in achieving their educational goals.
  • Expertise in Content and Pedagogy: Demonstrate exceptional teaching methodologies and knowledge in the subject matter.
  • Professionalism: Uphold high standards of professionalism in all interactions with students, colleagues, and families.
  • Curriculum Design and Revision: Design and revise Frameworks for Learning, curate and create content resources to support student learning.
  • Student Support: Provide customized synchronous and asynchronous support for students.
  • Communication: Engage with students and families through emails, phone calls, and Zoom meetings and display persistence in efforts to connect relationally with students and families.
  • Miscellaneous Responsibilities: Participate in MTSS activities, proctor IDLA assessments, and facilitate career spotlights.
