T&D/Substation Construction Supervisor

We are looking for a highly experienced and qualified Full Time T&D/Substation Construction Supervisor to join our team. This position is responsible for providing technical and operational expertise in T&D/Substation construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate should have 8-20 years of experience in Physical Design, Substation, Protection & Control, as well as a proven track record of successful project management.

• Plan, schedule, and monitor T&D/Substation construction activities, ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Ensure all required resources, materials, and equipment are available for T&D/Substation construction projects.
• Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule and budget, and ensure all project milestones are met.
• Ensure all construction activities are performed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Monitor work progress, review and inspect completed work, and evaluate contractors’ performance.
• Identify and coordinate resolution of project issues and conflicts, and provide technical guidance to project team members as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors.
• Provide leadership and instruction to junior team members, and ensure all safety guidelines are followed.
• Evaluate electrical equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning properly.

• 8-20 years of experience in Physical Design and Protection & Controls Design.
• Excellent understanding of construction processes and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Prior experience in T&D/Substation construction.
• Prior experience in project management.
