Pay Range: $28- $32/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact federal, state, territory and local tax agencies to research and resolve outstanding tax notices.
- Register for new tax accounts or close existing tax accounts when needed.
- Complete Power of attorney (POA) documents.
- Ensure timely resolution of notices while keeping tax notice tracking log updated.
- Download tax returns, then save to the share drive.
- Download ADP reports, then save to the share drive.
- Other duties as assigned.
- BA/BS Degree is required.
- Proven work experience in 1000+ employee, US multi-state, multi-FEIN payroll tax administration.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, multi-task and prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Skills in MS Excel to include V-Lookup and Pivot Tables.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience using office equipment including copier, scanner and computer.
