Tax Senior

Job summary:
The Tax Senior position is responsible, under the guidance of Tax Managers and/or Partners, to perform all aspects of tax services for clients including general research inquiries and developing technical skills.
Summary of essential job functions of the Tax Senior:
Ability to complete complex federal and multi-state returns for individual and entities.
Must be able to communicate internally and externally in both verbal and written form.
Manage competing priorities based on need and order.
Begin focusing on profitability jobs.
Practice first level tax planning and research for client benefit.
Address client concerns directly for general issues.
Comply with the continuing professional education requirements of the AICPA and the State of Louisiana Board of Accountancy.
Education and minimum requirements:
CPA license or eligible to sit for the Certified Public Accountant exam
2-4 years' experience
Proficient computer skills
Good verbal and written skills
Ability to interact proficiently with co-workers and clients.
