Tax Professional- Remote

We are looking for a full time Tax Preparer (CTEC) or Enrolled Agent (EA) to handle the income tax preparation for individuals and businesses Identifying potential tax credits and liabilities, ensuring accurate and complete returns are filed in a timely manner. They will also complete tax forms in accordance with policies and in compliance with legislation and regulations.

• Provide guidance for future taxes and help them make a plan for the upcoming year to save as much money as possible
• Communicate with tax authorities and submit the final tax return on the clients behalf
• Check each tax form for accuracy and tax compliance
• Honor client privacy by keeping confidential documents safe and organized
• Schedule consultations to go over tax strategy with clients and provide a price estimate

• Experience using standard tax software to file returns
• Familiar with basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Understands state and federal tax laws and can quickly interpret sections of the tax code for basic and atypical tax forms
• Registered with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and has a valid Prepare Tax Identification Number (PTIN)

• Tax preparation: 5 years (Required)

• You MUST be a CTEC Registered Tax Preparer (CRTP) or Enrolled Agent (EA)
• MUST have a PTIN
