Tax Preparer

Your responsibilities
- Figure and invoice for form preparation fees
- Conduct other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
- Prepare transaction tax returns utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies manually
- Take care of clients with incoming calls to facilitate tax questions and set appointments
- Plug in applicable data into Tax software application
- Keep in touch with clients to ensure necessary information/documents is up to date- Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
- Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred
- Excellent data entry skills
- Ultratax CS experience
- Proven knowledge of Business Correspondence
- Bookkeeping experience
- Complex Tax Return experience preferred
- Individual Tax Return experience
- Bookkeeping experience preferred
- Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
