Tax Manager - Private Client Services/Global Mobility Services

Our Tax practice seeks an experienced professional with global mobility tax consulting and compliance experience to join our Private Client Services/Global Mobility Services team, as a Manager, focused on companies with globally mobile employees.

This is a national practice, and we offer flexible work hours and locations: in office, remote, hybrid.

What You Will Do:

• 
  Apply your technical experience in tax compliance and compensation engagements to identify and consult on tax issues.
  
• 
  Lead projects in expatriate and inpatriate tax, tax reconciliation calculation, mobility program support, global compensation review, global pensions, global equity and payroll.
  
• 
  Lead projects in business traveler compliance and remote worker compliance using our mobile employee technology.
  
• 
  Lead the overall engagement coordination as well as provide technical guidance to junior team members.
  
• 
  Monitor international tax news, updates, developments, and law changes that may impact clients
  
• 
  Supervise and review tax returns prepared by other tax staff
  
• 
  Develop and sustain positive client relationships
  
• 
  Complete research and draft applicable tax memorandum on various international tax issues that impact clients
  
• 
  Participate in client proposals and new business development opportunities
  

What We Seek:

• 
  Years + Experience: 5+ years of relevant global mobility tax compliance experience in a CPA firm, a professional services firm, a tax consulting practice or a law firm
  
• 
  Education Required: Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or a Business-related field of study, an advanced tax-related degree (MST, JD, LLM) is preferred
  
• 
  Certification Required/Preferred: CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation preferred
  
• 
  Strong tax compliance and research experience with expatriation tax matters, reporting and program policy
  
• 
  Working knowledge with CCH, ProSystem FX and other tax software
  
• 
  Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  
• 
  Ability to travel to client locations when needed
  
•

  The salary range for this role takes into account many factors including, but not limited to, years and type of experience, skill sets, and certifications. The projected salary range for this position is $104,000 - $218,000.
