We are actively seeking an International Tax Manager for our New York City location.
Skills and Attributes:
Identify and answer complex domestic and International Tax issues
Provide technical tax advice and planning services to a portfolio of projects
Ability to succinctly and clearly communicate complex tax concepts to clients
Build long-lasting relationships with our clients while developing your understanding of their unique needs and requirements
Able to read documents such as treaties, court cases, etc.
Utilize research tools such as CCH, XCM ad RIA for heavy research
Constant development of your own knowledge to maintain your status as a trusted advisor by monitoring emerging trends, technologies and practices
To qualify for the role, you must have
A CPA license
A bachelor's degree; Masters a plus
Minimum five years of related work experience
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing demands
Tax due diligence, deal-structuring, and post-acquisition planning experience and/or inbound and outbound transaction consulting with International Tax research, planning and compliance experience
Ideally, youll also have
Intricate knowledge of USUS forms, 5471, 5472, 8865, 8621(PFIC), 8992(GILTI), 926
Proficient user of Microsoft Office Applications
Proficiency in ProSystems FX
Outstanding communication, verbal and written, and interpersonal skills
Proven client management skills and the ability to drive business
Strong work ethic
Ability to work in fast-paced professional services environment
Capacity to be flexible, work independently and be a team player
Active participant with outside committee(s) is a plus
Substantial public accounting experience
Diverse industry experience
Insight, judgement and initiative to recognize areas for improvement for both firm and clients
Salary Range: $150 - $165k
