About this Job:
Moore Colson is looking for dynamic Tax Managers to join our growing Tax practice in Atlanta.
A Day in the Life
Tax Managers are responsible for (but not limited to):
· Reviewing tax returns of varying complexities
· Delegating tax preparation and research to staff (as appropriate)
· Preparing complex business income tax returns
· Tax consulting and projections
· Assuming client service responsibility
· Developing staff members
Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting required; master's degree in taxation preferred
· Current CPA license required
· 4 -7 years experience preparing corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns in a public accounting firm
· Minimum of one (1) year experience supervising and directing work of tax preparers
· Exceptional Excel skills
· Proficiency with tax automation / workflow software is a plus
· Consultative approach and client service oriented
· Exceptional and proactive communicator (verbal & written)
· Self-Directed, Autonomous, Ambitious
