We are a fast-growing startup organization seeking a full-time Corporate Tax Manager to join our team. The position is an onsite position, working Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with a one-hour lunch.

Key Responsibilities of the Corporate Tax Manager

• Ensure effective tax management, overseeing the preparation and review of tax reports, ensuring accuracy, and proactively addressing any identified issues.
• Consolidate tax reports for both GUS and Glovis America
• Manage tax filings for direct and indirect taxes, BEPS, and Transfer Pricing, adhering to all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Prepare for and cooperate with tax audits conducted by State Tax, Local Tax, and Federal Tax authorities, maintaining meticulous records and providing necessary documentation.
• Conduct in-depth studies and present reports on Tax Saving Strategies, identifying opportunities to optimize tax liabilities while remaining compliant with applicable tax laws.
• Monitor and manage sales and use tax compliance, staying up to date with regulations and promptly addressing any potential concerns.
• Handle the management of state and federal incentives, such as job tax credits, to maximize benefits for the organization while adhering to relevant guidelines.
• Conduct annual risk assessment with external Auditors.
• Implement improvements and modify accounting policies, procedures, techniques, and mechanisms if risk is found in assessment

Qualifications of the Corporate Tax Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with a concentration in tax or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Corporate Tax Accounting (Preferred)
• Possesses ability to prepare and return tax reports.
• SAP Experience
• Quick system operating
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
• Accounting Assessment required.
• This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including a laptop computer and cell phone. The employee is generally required to spend long periods of time sitting, typing, and working at a computer. May require the ability to occasionally lift and transport items. The estimated base salary range for the Tax Manager is $100,000-$110,000. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
