Tax Manager

PNF CPA is a boutique certified public accounting firm based in New Jersey and Florida servicing a variety of business and personal clientele.

Seeking a Tax Manager who will support the company's management staff by managing all corporate tax filings. The Tax Manager is responsible for working directly with the company's tax accountant to ensure that all income tax filings are current and that monthly tax obligations have been satisfied. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in tax reporting, experience in audit defense and knowledge of international tax systems. The ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated professional with the ability to work effectively with the company's senior leadership team.

Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities:

• Reviewing tax returns
• Preparing complex returns
• Prepare tax reports and presentations for government officials.
• Prepare tax forms for government agencies and businesses.
• Prepare tax assessor reports for area businesses.
• Assist businesses in understanding their tax obligations.
• Tax planning and research
• Project management and client relations
• Hands-on preparation of certain tax aspects of US return.
• Significant review of the U.S. Federal tax return as well as State tax returns.
• Interface with various levels within the tax department.
• Support audits, as necessary.
