Position Details

• 3-6 Month contract role with the possibility of going perm for the right person
• This will be a W-2 position working with Evenflow Solutions. Benefits are available to you through our company while you are working the contract position.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Auditor to join our Finance team for the upcoming tax season. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our tax records. The Tax Auditor will be responsible for conducting thorough reviews of financial documents, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to address any issues. This temporary position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our tax-related processes during a crucial period.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
• Identify discrepancies and discrepancies in tax-related documents.
• Maintain organized and well-documented records of audit findings and analyses.
• Collaborate with the finance team to address and rectify any issues identified during the audit process.
• Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
• Provide recommendations and insights to enhance overall tax compliance processes.
• Effectively communicate audit results and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve any tax-related discrepancies or concerns.
• Generate detailed audit reports for management review, summarizing findings and proposing corrective actions.
• Ensure timely submission of audit reports to meet internal and external deadlines.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of external audits, providing necessary documentation and support as required.
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate a smooth and efficient audit process.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Tax Auditor or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tax-related software.

Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour
