Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Tax Analyst (TA) role as part of its US Country Tax Center. The position is available within the State & Local Tax (“SALT”) team. The preferred candidate’s work location will be in New Brunswick NJ, or Titusville, NJ and the position will incorporate the J&J Flex Hybrid Work Model. The Titusville, NJ location offers a shuttle service to the NJ Transit Trenton station which is accessible via both NJ & PA regional rail systems.

Key Responsibilities: SALT Position
- Supports the audit team in responding to auditor documentation requests for income, sales and use and property tax audits.
- Collaborates with the SALT tax team and business partners to conducts risk analyses using Key Performance Indicators; identifies and communicates key risks; evaluates the financial impact of different what-if scenarios; recommends appropriate actions related to procurement, finance, and SALT systems; applies knowledge of systems and SALT processes to identify unmet needs.
- Supports the implementation, maintenance, and administration of various tax systems as it relates to audit remediation.
- Performs reconciliations between ERPs and the Vertex System.
- Provides timely support related to tax disputes.
- Multitasks to work on variety of projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
- An understanding of financial accounting practices and direct tax compliance.
- Must possess strong communication (verbal and written), time management, collaborative and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, OneSource Tax, Corptax, Vertex, SAP, Avalara, Alteryx, Power BI.
The base pay range for this position is $60,000 - $96,600.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
