SalaryA fast-growing firm looking for an accountant with at least 1 year of tax preparation experience. We provide the oportunity for Remote Work as well as in office depinging on what works best for each employee. We work exclusively with business owners, most of the time doing much more than standard CPA work - namely helping them manage the back office so that they can focus on what they do best. We work with clients in many different industries and provide an opportunity to become a well-rounded business advisor.
The person best suited for this position will be teachable, a quick learner, able to view taxes from an entrepreneurial point of view, and someone who wants to work hard and take pride in their work. Our culture is very important to us and sets us apart from most other CPA firms - we hold ourselves to an extremely high level of excellence and pride in our work, while at the same time ditching a lot of the well-established formalities that we find pointless, like formal dress and stuffy ways of communicating to name a few. We are also a very high-tech firm, definitely at the cutting edge for the industry as we have software developers on staff that not only write custom software to service our clients, but also create tools for us to use that assist in the tax prep process. This position will be responsible for preparing tax returns as well as some tax planning, with a potential to move into tax research and / or preparing Reviews and Compilations.
