Tax Accountant Cpa

A well-established family-friendly CPA firm is looking for a Tax Accountant/CPA to join their stable team! The ideal candidate will have an active CPA and current/recent public accounting experience.

Duties:

• Facilitate and manage the accurate and timely preparation and review of corporate, partnership, and individual federal, state, and local tax returns for privately held and family-owned business clients.
• Develop tax strategies to help clients maintain compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
• Conduct tax research for compliance issues and planning.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments and communicate the effects of these developments to the Tax Services team.
• Create strategies to capitalize on changes to tax legislation.
• Manage and facilitate correspondence with the IRS and other tax authorities.

Requirements:

• An active CPA license is a must (Masters in Taxation is a plus)
• Minimum of 5 years of public accounting tax experience (must be current or very recent)
• Heavy tax review experience is crucial.
• Knowledge of PA tax law and experience with CCH ProSystem fx Tax and Engagement and CCH IntelliConnect/AnswerConnect software are big pluses!
• Possess extensive individual, corporate, and partnership tax knowledge and experience.
• Are self-motivated and able to work independently but also a team player, establishing good working relationships with all team members.
