Company Description- Tax Staff is responsible for handling the basic tax needs of clients regarding personal and business tax matters. Includes tax return preparation, year-end tax projection planning, estimates, and tax research. Tax Staff works closely with all levels of the tax department. Duties and responsibilities Prepare Individual (resident and non-resident), C and S Corporation, Partnership, Fiduciary, Gift, Foreign Bank Account Report, Single Member LLC, Business License, Property Tax, Sales & Use, Exempt Organizations and Private Foundation tax returns
- Prepare tax adjusting journal entries for business management clients’ books and records
- Prepare quarterly tax estimates and year-end individual projections and business closeouts
- Prepare tax basis schedules
- Client bookkeeping
- Assist/Make non-business management clients’ electronic tax payments as necessary
- Able to perform basic tax research
- Prepare Forms W-2, 1099, and 1042 as necessary
- Tax Preparation: 1 years (Required)
- Public Accounting (CPA Firm): 1 years (Required)
