Tasting Room Associate

Baron's Creek Vineyards is looking for associates for its new Tasting Room in the Bishop Arts District - Dallas. This is a client-facing role with opportunities to add additional responsibilities as the operation grows. We are looking for an outgoing, friendly and professional demeanor that is able to interact easily with our club members, customers as well as other staff at our winery and Tasting Rooms. Knowledge and passion of wine, while not required, is preferred. We will provide you with training on our wines and education. A passion for customer service is mandatory.

The Position

• Responsible for the consistent delivery of excellent customer service
• Responsible for contributing to a positive and productive team environment
• Conduct wine tastings
• Sell wine and club memberships
• Assist with on-site and off-site events
• Assist with opening and closing, and restocking of wine and merchandise

The Candidate

• Outstanding ability to connect with customers
• Proven customer service track record in a retail or hospitality environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays with working past scheduled time off occasionally being required
• Physically able to lift 50lbs cases of wine and to stock merchandise and wine
• Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail
• Flexible, friendly, approachable, responsible and passionate with a “Can do” attitude
• Previous experience with wine and Tasting Room environments helpful but not required

The Package

Hourly pay, gratuity, commission, wine training, support with wine education
