Taproom Beertender

Hatchet Brewing Company is a growing local brewery based in Southern Pines, NC. We are looking for energetic, hardworking, and reliable individuals to join our team as Beertenders at our new taproom location in Downtown Selma, NC!

Position Description: Beertenders are responsible for daily interaction with customers to provide an exceptional experience in the taproom and at offsite events. This will include interacting with customers, serving customers, hosting events, and maintaining the taproom and event supplies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Interact with and take orders from customers

· Assess customers' needs and preferences to make product suggestions

· Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks

· Help plan and present the bar menu

· Stock beverage, food, and merchandise offerings at open/close of shift

· Assist with the execution of on-site events

· Check customer’s identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age requirements

· Stay guest focused and nurture an exceptional guest experience

· Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Qualifications:

· Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

· Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean

Physical requirements:

· Lift 55 pounds from ground to shoulder height and maneuver 170 pounds at ground height.

Compensation and Benefits:

• · Hourly Starting Pay: $7.00 + Tips

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $7.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
