Form of work
SalaryPerform on-site interpretation in Sacramento, California and the surrounding cities. Perform interpreting for limited English Proficiency (LEP) patients and healthcare providers. Provide accurate and timely documentation of the work performed. Description: Interpreter will be working as an Independent Contractor. This is an on-call independent contract, which means that an interpreter is called when the service is needed. Interpreters have a flexible work schedule, and it is possible to accept or decline the job assignment.
Qualifications: Fluency in oral and written English and a target language(s)
Knowledge of medical terminology
Understanding of the key aspects of culture
Candidates must have valid California Driver's License, cell phone, and computer access. .
Must have or willing to obtain current tuberculosis test and clearance, and background check.
