Responsibilities:
About the role:
- Participate in the development and execution of comprehensive sourcing strategies and conduct candidate sourcing for assigned roles in functional area by leveraging multiple sourcing channels to identify and attract top talent
- Proactively search for, identify, network with and directly contact active and passive job seekers, both internally and externally, for vacancies Sourcing the best candidates using a variety of channels that are aligned to and effectively communicate
- Meet defined Talent Acquisition metrics for quality, cost, cycle time, diversity and compliance/risk all while providing a world class recruitment experience for candidates and business partners throughout the hiring process
- Participation in special projects to enhance and improve the Recruiting department's functions
- Wth minimal guidance, extend employment offers with candidates and complete the pre-employment process according to the recruiting guidelines
- Advanced knowledge of HR policies and procedures related to employment and pre-employment
- Advanced knowledge of IT programs, systems, software, etc
- Complete understanding of the GM Financial pre-employment and business processes, policies and procedures
- Complete understanding of individual hiring manager’s expectations of the recruitment process
- Advanced knowledge of technology solutions and their application within the hiring process
- Advanced knowledge of governmental employment law and regulations
- Advanced knowledge of statutory regulations (eg, anti-discrimination laws, pre-employment screenings, interview techniques/limitations, etc)
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders across functional and organizational lines
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree Business/in related field or equivalent work experience Human Resources preferred
- 2-4 years full life-cycle recruiting experience, preferably with a strong background with technology
- Experience with developing and executing sourcing strategies required
