Job Summary
Responsible for full-cycle recruitment utilizing understanding of business, location needs, specific talent pools, and the innovation necessary to execute a Talent Acquisition strategy in a manufacturing environment. Manages a high-volume requisition load, partnering within the organization and Marketing and Communication Specialist to execute employee brand, social media, and diversity outreach.
MAIN POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with various site leadership, Human Resources Manager, and Corporate HR and Talent Manager to determine manufacturing site recruiting strategy and hiring objectives
- Manage full cycle recruiting efforts for manufacturing locations including talent sourcing, candidate evaluation, and screening, interview process, and offer
- Collaborate with HR and Business Leaders to plan for future workforce; develop internal and external pipeline strategies for manufacturing locations; execute strategies and maintain pipelines
- Provide insights and expertise on market trends, competitive landscape, and recruitment strategies for specialized manufacturing roles
- Effectively manage internal and external candidates and deliver a positive candidate experience
- Collaborate with Corporate Talent Specialist to maintain SOP's related to all manufacturing recruiting operations
- Research and build applicant sources using a variety of outlets, such as job postings, job search engines, referrals, social media, and internet sites among others
- Track and report key recruiting metrics
- Assist in management of external recruiters and recruiting costs
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications Specialist, Corporate Talent Specialist too manage external employment brand through various social media platforms
- Partner with Corporate Talent Specialist to facilitate university relations program
- Facilitate various Human Resource projects as assigned
EMPLOYEE QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA required in HR, Business, or other related area
- 2 to 5 years' with recruiting experience in a corporate recruiting function in a manufacturing facility
- Glass or other packaging industry experience preferred
- Combined experience with agency staffing and corporate recruiting is preferred
- Experience using recruiting ATS and other direct sourcing tools and techniques required
- Workday experience preferred
- Strong computer skills required: i.e., MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high level of professionalism and outstanding business judgment
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in different areas, independently and simultaneously
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple key stakeholders and a willingness to complete work tasks outside of immediate job responsibilities, as needed
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communications skills, including the ability to interact with all levels of management
- Up to 60% required travel to manufacturing plants to cultivate relationships with candidates and operations team members, depending on base location
